It's remarkable to think of the scale of the pandemic and how the world is living through this shared experience together. Every day healthcare workers continue to demonstrate bravery, compassion, and professionalism in the face of danger. I hope from the bottom of my heart that they have a home where they feel safe, a place where they can rest and release the burdens of their day, a space where they feel loved. To show our appreciation for these heroes, this month's chapter of Inspiration is Everywhere is dedicated to them.

Inspired by the calming palette represented in this analogous color relationship of blue-green, blue, and blue-violet, I developed a traditional bedroom design with contemporary touches.

Crisp white bedding set against an upholstered headboard is lovely and inviting with blue-gray walls. Floral drapery panels add softness and texture in addition to a throw and pillows of blue, teal, and white. This area rug not only captures our palette perfectly, but the minimal design is ideal for a bedroom where the pattern won't be lost under a bed. Delicate nightstands partner well with a minimal bureau in a similar wood tone. Glass table lamps, clock, candlesticks, and hydrangea bouquet create an elegant bedside tablescape. A feminine side chair dressed in blue Ikat fabric is a great addition to any bedroom corner, whether it's for tossing clothes or a relaxing cup of tea.
